I have not yet begun to fight!

ca. 1930

This is a photograph of a print of John Paul Jones, created in the 1930s by the George Washington Bicentennial Commission. Jones, an officer in the Continental Navy during the American Revolution, took the war to the enemy's homeland with daring raids along the British coast and the famous 1779 victory of the Bonhomme Richard over HMS Serapis.
