Do comic books lead to crime?

1954

The Subcommittee to Investigate Juvenile Delinquency of the Committee on the Judiciary held hearings on the effect of comic books on young people on April 21–22, and June 4, 1954. The committee established a four level rating system for comic books – no objection, some objection, objectionable, and very-objectionable. Selected pages are shown.
