Opposing the 19th Amendment

In this December 11, 1917, memorial to U.S. House of Representatives member Charles E. Fuller, Alice H. Wadsworth, President of the National Association Opposed to Woman Suffrage, argued against the proposed amendment to the U.S. Constitution granting women the right to vote. Nonetheless, the 19th Amendment was ratified on August 26, 1920.
