This photograph of Medium Range Ballistic Missile (MRBM) Launch Site Two at San Cristobal, Cuba, was taken on November 1, 1962, four days after Soviet Premier Nikita Krushchev promised to remove the missiles. This photograph highlights the former launch positions.
