Zbigniew Brzezinski, President Jimmy Carter’s National Security Advisor from 1977 to 1981, was born in Warsaw and entered the United States from Canada on March 7, 1954. Having received a doctorate from Harvard University, he was naturalized in 1958 and has served as a statesman, political scientist, and professor.
